Mr. David Wahlgren has been an inspiration to all of us at RLandolph High School. He
continues to serve the RLandolph community after many years. He began his teaching career in 1%5,
when he was called to Vietnam to serve for two years. Mr. Wahlgren returned as a part of the RLHS
^Business Department In 1981, he was transferred to the Guidance Department at the JFK
Elementary School for about a decade and then came back to RLHS to stay.

Mr. Wahlgren is a great friend, mentor, and confidante. He could always be found roaming
the hallways, joking with students and teachers alike in his loud, booming voice. Those who know
him best say he lives for the kids and loves working with them. He was dedicated to the students,
and wanted to help them plan their futures. Mr. Linehan still quotes him today, "If you come in with
questions, you'll walk out with a plan." Mr. Wahlgren is known for his great sense of humor. If you
get past his seeming intimidation, you will find that he is just a big, lovable teddy bear.

As one of his former colleagues once said, "If RLandolph had a mayor, he'd be it" Mr.
Wahlgren knows just about everyone: the students, their mothers, their fathers, their sisters, their
brothers, their cousins, their aunts, and their uncles. Don't be surprised if he knows your third
cousin's uncle's mother-in-law twice removed.

We'd like to thank Mr. Wahlgren for his aid throughout these stressful high school years.
He helped us arrange our schedules, held conferences with us about college placement and still found
time to have a friendly conversion. In doing so, he has left footprints in our hearts as he walks on,
leaving us more assured and much less confused. We are grateful for the time he has invested in
making our high school experience that much better. With fondness in our hearts, and smiles on
our faces, we dedicate this yearbook to him.

things when you want to not when

what's important to you as an individual

Mr. Gerard J. Linehan

To the Class of 2004:

Congratulations to you and your families as you gradu-
ate from Randolph High School. You began your high
school experience with anxiety and trepidation. This
June you will receive your diploma as confident, mature,
and sophisticated young men and women. It has been an
honor and pleasure to work with you during these years.
Your accomplishments rank high and bring much de-
served praise to your class.

On behalf of Randolph High School faculty and admin-
istration, I thank you for your contributions to our school
and community. We wish you success in your continu-
ing education and careers. Continue your pursuit of
excellence and maintain your commitment of using your
talents to help others.

Well done.

Mr. Robert A. Johnson

To the Class of 2004:

Walt Disney believed that his motto "If you can
dream it, you can do it" provided the inspiration for
the creation of his "Magic Kingdom." For the past
twelve years, each of you have been pursuing your
own dream to walk up to the stage on Graduation Day
to receive your diploma. Your hard work and deter-
mination along with the help of your family, friends,
and teachers have enabled you to finally reach this
"magical" moment.

You must now take the skills and knowledge that you
have acquired at Randolph High School and use them
to follow the advice of Henry David Thoreau who
wrote "Go confidently in the directions of your dreams!
Live the life you've imagined."

Congratulations and thank you for all of the contribu-
tions that you have made to your class and school.

Be great!

Mr. R. Luke Carroll

Assistant Principal

Dear Class of 2004:

Having completed all the graduation requirements of
Randolph High School, I congratulate you, the Class of
2004. Your experiences here are only a step in your journey
through life. As you face the next round of challenges that
will inevitably come your way, rely upon your personal
resources and the enduring educational background you
have received at Randolph High School.

The final days of senior year are very memorable. Take the
time to enjoy your senior year. Remember the experiences
that formed you personally and that are part of your collec-
tive identity: the light hearted days as a freshman, the
enjoyment shared with friends at dances and proms, the
trials of applying to college or finding a job, the world
changing tragedy of September 11, 2003. Leave with pride,
memories, and experiences that have laid the foundation
for a bright tomorrow. Move forward to reflect and act upon
the important years that lie ahead of you.

I have enjoyed the last four years with you. Continue the
learning process, and may you find success and happiness
in all your "walks" of life.

The Oracle, or Randolph High Schools yearbook, is a treasured keepsake to all who buy it. To make a
vearbook requires much work, though, and a large, dedicated staff is needed to produce it. "fix* staff is
divided into two parts: the Technical Staff and the Business Staff. Hie Technical Staff' works cotintless hours
laving out pages, taking photographs, and meeting deadlines. The Business Staff is responsible for collecting
advertisements, collecting vearbook payments, and meeting all financial deadlines the yearbook has. All
together, to work with die Oracle requires much dedicator responsibility, and most importantly, time.
